The Bun Penny occupies a prominent position on the road into Lee
on the Solent and is only a short walk from the main street and the beach.
Originally a farm house and then a coaching inn, this centuries old building
has all the charm and character you would expect from a building of its age.
The Bun Penny is now a classic English country pub which benefits from a
large patio at the front and an extensive back garden ideal for soaking up
the sun whilst in cooler months there are real fires and lots of cosy
corners inside
Tom and Jen pride themselves on offering everything you would expect of a traditional free house serving the needs of its local community. Local real ales of course, plus interesting wines and home cooked food. Most importantly though, a welcome for all the family, including the dog!
Tom trained as a chef and the menu and specials board feature freshly
cooked dishes making the most of locally sourced and seasonal produce.
With a wealth of interior space, The Bun Penny can cater for large parties and menus can be created to suit your celebration and pocket.
